When you edit a role under **Settings → Access → Roles & Permissions**, the module list is grouped into sections — Payroll, HR, Accounting, CRM, and so on. Two of those sections aren't tied to a single feature area: **Other** is a small group of general-purpose platform modules that don't fit anywhere more specific, and **Uncategorised** is a catch-all for anything the grouping logic couldn't place at all. This page lists every checkbox in both, in the order they appear, with a plain description of what turning it on lets someone do. Every module on this page uses the platform's default five checkboxes: **Add** (create new), **Edit** (change existing), **Delete** (remove), **View** (see it), **View All** (see everyone's, not just your own) — none of these modules have their own custom action set. **Where to manage this:** Settings → Access → Roles & Permissions. *** ## Other The **Other** group catches general platform modules — things like notices, files, reports, and the dashboard — that are too small or too generic to deserve their own named group. There are **10 modules and 50 checkboxes** in this group. *** ### 1. Analytics Reports Pre-built analytical/statistical reports, as distinct from the ad-hoc report list below and from the Report Templates module. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Create a new analytics report definition. | | **Edit** | Change an existing one. | | **Delete** | Remove one. | | **View** | Open and run analytics reports. | | **View All** | See analytics reports created by everyone, not just your own. | *** ### 2. Appointments The general-purpose appointment/visit booking module. This is separate from the appointment-booking screens inside individual vertical products (for example, Health360 and Salon360 each have their own Appointments module with its own permission). | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ----------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Book a new appointment. | | **Edit** | Change an existing appointment. | | **Delete** | Cancel/remove an appointment. | | **View** | See appointments. | | **View All** | See everyone's appointments, not just your own. | *** ### 3. Dashboard The general platform summary screen shown after logging in — separate from any vertical product's own dashboard (Sacco360 Dashboard, Retail Dashboard, etc. are each their own module with their own permission). | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Not typically used — the dashboard isn't something you "create" — but the checkbox exists as part of the standard action set. | | **Edit** | Access admin-level dashboard actions, beyond just looking at it. | | **Delete** | Not typically used, for the same reason as Add. | | **View** | See the dashboard. | | **View All** | See dashboard data across the whole organisation, not just your own scope. | *** ### 4. Files The general-purpose file manager and document storage used across the platform for uploads and attachments. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | -------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Upload a new file. | | **Edit** | Rename or update an existing file's details. | | **Delete** | Remove a file. | | **View** | Browse and open files. | | **View All** | See every file, not just ones you uploaded. | *** ### 5. Notices The general notice/announcement board. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | | **Add** | Post a new notice. | | **Edit** | Change an existing notice. | | **Delete** | Remove a notice. | | **View** | Read notices. | | **View All** | See notices outside your own scope, not just ones targeted at you. | *** ### 6. Report Templates Saved report layouts/setups that the Reports module (below) runs against. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ----------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Create a new report template. | | **Edit** | Change an existing template. | | **Delete** | Remove a template. | | **View** | See available templates. | | **View All** | See templates created by everyone, not just your own. | *** ### 7. Reports The general ad-hoc reporting module — separate from Report Templates (the saved setups) and Analytics Reports (the pre-built analytical reports). | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | --------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Create/generate a new report. | | **Edit** | Change a report's parameters or save changes to it. | | **Delete** | Remove a report. | | **View** | Open and run reports. | | **View All** | See reports run by everyone, not just your own. | *** ### 8. School Events Calendar events at the school level — assemblies, sports days, and similar. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Create a new school event. | | **Edit** | Change an existing event. | | **Delete** | Remove an event. | | **View** | See the events calendar. | | **View All** | See events across the whole school, not just ones you're tied to. | *** ### 9. Subjects The subject catalog — kept separate from the Offerings/Subjects module under Academics, which handles how subjects are actually delivered to classes. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | -------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Add a new subject to the catalog. | | **Edit** | Change a subject's details. | | **Delete** | Remove a subject. | | **View** | See the subject list. | | **View All** | See every subject, not just ones in your own department. | *** ### 10. Visitors The front-desk visitor log. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Log a new visitor. | | **Edit** | Change a visitor record — e.g. sign them out. | | **Delete** | Remove a visitor record. | | **View** | See the visitor log. | | **View All** | See visitor records across the whole site, not just ones you logged. | *** ## Uncategorised > **Scope note:** In the real role editor, "Uncategorised" is a catch-all for **every** module that doesn't match any of the \~20 named group patterns. Because most of Hitaji 360's vertical products — **Health360, Retail360, Salon360, Law360, Faith360, Agri360, PDM360, Usalama360, Laundromat360, Build360, TransformAfrica**, and most of **Edu360/school management** — use module-key prefixes the grouping logic doesn't recognize, all of their modules technically land in Uncategorised too. That's a long list (well over 100 checkboxes) and out of scope for this catalog, which — like the Payroll, HR, Accounting, and CRM permission pages — only covers the shared/ERP/platform layer. If you need a permissions reference for a specific vertical product, that belongs on its own dedicated page. Below are only the modules in Uncategorised that are genuinely shared, cross-product platform modules. There are **6 modules and 30 checkboxes** documented here. *** ### 1. Form Responses The submitted responses to Hitaji Forms (below) — kept as its own permission so viewing/exporting responses can be granted separately from managing the forms themselves. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | **Add** | Not typically used directly — responses are normally created by the person filling in the form — but the checkbox exists as part of the standard action set. | | **Edit** | Change a submitted response. | | **Delete** | Remove a response. | | **View** | See submitted responses. | | **View All** | See every response, not just ones tied to forms you created. | *** ### 2. Hitaji Forms A general-purpose, Google-Forms-like form builder available to every organisation regardless of which vertical products they've subscribed to. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Create a new form. | | **Edit** | Change an existing form's questions and settings. | | **Delete** | Remove a form. | | **View** | See and open forms. | | **View All** | See forms created by everyone, not just your own. | *** ### 3. Hitaji Brain The platform's AI assistant, available across products. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Start a new AI chat/conversation. | | **Edit** | Not typically used — conversations aren't usually edited after the fact — but the checkbox exists as part of the standard action set. | | **Delete** | Delete a conversation. | | **View** | Open and read AI conversations. | | **View All** | See conversations belonging to everyone, not just your own. | *** ### 4. M\&E Progress Reports Progress reports for Monitoring & Evaluation (M\&E) programs — likely to be used by NGO/nonprofit-leaning organisations tracking results against a program's indicators. | Checkbox | What it does | | ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- | | **Add** | Submit a new progress report. | | **Edit** | Change a report. | | **Delete** | Remove a report. | | **View** | Read progress reports. | | **View All** | See every program's reports, not just ones you submitted. | > **Note:** There's no separate Approve action for this module — **Edit** is also the approve-and-publish authority for M\&E progress reports. Granting Edit to a reviewer grants publish rights too. *** ### 5. Organization Structure The org-chart editor — but it's more than that. This same permission also drives who the approval-workflow engine treats as the approver for a given position, and Accounting uses this structure to map cost centers.
