Before you start
- Which business am I in? Templates are scoped to the business selected in the switcher.
- Managing templates is a configuration task. Creating, editing, and deleting templates needs
hr-recruitment:config. - These templates live alongside your other HR templates — the breadcrumb threads them under the Template Centre.
What a template holds
Creating a template
From the templates list, choose New Template to open the editor.📷 Screenshot: Offer Term Template editor with the live preview — to be added.
- Give the template a title (required).
- Add term lines — each has a term name and a value. Use Add term for more, and drag the handle to reorder lines (the order is how they’ll appear on the offer).
- A live preview on the right shows the terms as they’ll read in the offer letter.
- Create Template.
Editing & deleting
Click any template card to open it in the editor, change the title or lines, and Save Changes. The editor also has a Delete button (with confirmation), and you can delete from the list via the trash icon on a card.Deleting a template never touches existing offers. Applying a template to an offer copies its lines onto that offer, so editing or deleting the template afterwards leaves already-built offers exactly as they were.
How templates feed an offer
When you build a job offer, step 3 (“Key terms”) has a “Start from a template” dropdown listing your templates. Pick one and its lines are copied into the offer’s term editor, where you can then add, remove, or reword any line for that specific candidate.Permissions
